Lennon Breezer, our new herd sire was purchased at the Limousin Premier Sale in Roscrea last May.
- Breezer was selected not only for his looks but also on account of his deep pedigree. He is a son of the world renowed Mas du clo out of the famous Paris and Brive winning cow- Halea RR.
- He was born as a result of E.T. from an embryo selected in France by Goulding Genetics and KBS.
- His dam Halea originates from the famous herd of Gaec Lagfreuil-Peuch in the Correze region of France and boasts an extremely high IVMAT of 120.
- Consequently it is of little surprise that Breezer also boasts an overall Suckler Beef Index of E149.
- This puts his breeding value into the top half of 1% of the breed and ahead of almost all A.I. bulls including his legendary father Mas du Clo.

PENANE PRINCE was purchased privately at the 2000 National Championships from Mary King, having been a high performer at the National Test Station in Tully.
- He is sired by top French A.I. sire Genial.
- His dam is an excellent Genereux daughter winning 2nd prize in a strong cow class at the 1997 National Championships.
- This family has produced many prizewinners and top prices at Roscrea Premier Sale.
- Prince was selected for his breeding, style, muscle and size.He is an extremely long bull and has tremendous muscling of his hindquarters and loin.
- Prince is consistently stamping his progeny with heavy muscling of the back and hindquarters.
- Several of his sons have been prizewinners at Society sales.
- His daughters retained in the herd are proving their worth, been tremendous breeders.
- Indeed the 2006 S.E. Club calf winner Galbally A-362 was out of a Penane Prince cow. And once again in 2007, the dams of both our herd competition male and female winners were Penane Prince cows.

- In the summer of 2006 we took the decision to retain as Junior Herd Sire the homebred Lino son Galbally Apollo.
- We felt that this was the right decision to take, not only because he was an exceptional young bull, but because his dam Galbally Sophie is one of our top cows.
- Apollo boasted tremendous BLUPS himself.

- Unfortunately following an accident and just 25months old having served only 8 cows, Apollo had to be slaughtered.
- No semen had been collected.
- His calves have exceeded our expectations and 2 of his sons will be destined for Roscrea in October 2008

Hawthorne Tommy was selected for his well-proven bloodlines; outstanding confirmation and high B.L.U.P.figures all gelled together.
He is transmitting style, shape and extreme docility to all his progeny.
Tommy has recently been sold to my Uncle George Masterson’s Boroside herd. The reason for the sale was that his daughters are now entering the herd.
